Paint correction is the removal of defects in a car’s clear coat using machine polishing and specialised compounds. It’s often confused with general polishing or waxing, as it is much more involved and results in a permanent improvement, not just a temporary cosmetic fix. Paint Correction restores and enhances the paintwork of a vehicle by removing surface imperfections that dull, oxidize, or haze the paint. These imperfections include swirl marks, fine scratches, water spots, oxidation, and etching from bird droppings or bug splatter.
